These four stage units include the most important components of RO/DI systems, and also include the most popular set of accessories for optimum performance and operation. Units come assembled, and include: clear housings, 1-micron poly sediment filter; 0.5-micron, 20,000 gallon carbon block; RO membrane, rust-proof bracket, pressure gauge, housing wrench, drain saddle, and 6 feet of blue, yellow, and white tubing for the supply water, drain, and purified water. These units also include a filled, refillable DI resin cartridge. Semiconductor grade resin assures you the best water quality possible and the refillable cartridge provides an economical option for replacing the resin.
We offer an expansive range of options and add-ons, some of which are described below and can be selected above. Not sure what options would be best in your situation? Need an extra stage? All our water treatment systems are built in our shop and can be customized. Please give us a call - we have a specialist waiting to talk with you!

RODI Capacity Depending in large part upon which RO membrane is used, RODI systems are configured to produce a specific number of gallons per day. There are several things to consider when selecting the capacity best for your situation. If we consider a 75 gallon per day system for example, a bit of arithmetic shows the system will produce 3 gallons per hour. So although you may never need to produce 75 gallons of RODI water in a day, most users will find a "gallons per hour capacity" more practical.
24 GPD = 1 GPH; 36 GPD = 1.5 GPH; 50 GPD = 2.1 GPH; 75 GPD = 3.1 GPH; 100 GPD = 4.2 GPH; 150 GPD = 6.3 GPH
These capacities will be met (+ 20%), if the feedwater meets factory specifications (see the table below). Also consider how well the various RO membranes clean the feedwater (a higher "rejection rate" results in cleaner RO water):
ASOV Kit Auto Shut Off Valves stop the flow of concentrate (a.k.a "waste water") when the flow of purified water is stopped by a separate valve (for example, a float valve). This Kit includes a check valve and ASOV (both plumbed in for you), and a float valve with built in bulkhead set to accept 1/4" tubing.
Flush Valve Routine use of a flush valve can help extend the useful life of the RO membrane. Options include a manual valve the user should open occasionally; or an automatic valve powered by a transformer (included) that opens once per hour for 18 seconds - giving you one less thing to remember to do!
DI Bypass Many users wish to access their RO water before it reaches the DI stage. With the simple opening of our unique 3-way valve, RO water exits the system without passing through the DI resin. Say goodbye to shortened DI resin life due to TDS creep! Provides a convenient source of RO drinking water, and facilitates sampling the TDS of RO water with a handheld TDS meter. Includes 6 feet of 1/4" tubing.
TDS Meter These meters are an important tool in assessing the purity of your treated water. Both inline and handheld meters are available. See our Meters and Controllers for detailed descriptions of each. If you select an inline meter for your new RODI system, we recommend the TRM1 - the only 3-probe TDS meter on the market. Allows the monitoring of TDS of 1) feedwater (tap water), 2) RO water, and 3) DI water.
Feedwater Supply Fitting Feedwater Fittings are used to tap into your plumbing to supply water to the system. Depending upon where in your home or facility you install the system, we have a fitting that will work for you!

Great bang for your buck. For the same price as equivalent units from other brands, you get a 1 micron sediment filter and a 0.5 micron carbon block. At this price, you often get 5 micron elsewhere. Really useful and responsive customer service as well.

I have purchased three RODI units for my aquariums over the years. Recently, I left my unit outside in the Wyoming winter. Needless to say, -20 was too cold for anything to last. I made a call, and ordered another unit. Within about three days, I had clean 0ppm water again. I have been thoroughly impressed with how easy these units are to set up, operate, and how well they work. I will continue to use Buckeye for all my future needs.

Easy to follow setup instructions got me producing 0 ppm goodness from 530 ppm tap water in a little over an hour. Without the DI stage, the RO brought the TDS down to 11 ppm. At 63 psi, I can achieve about 2 1/2 gallons an hour. No more buying distilled water or hoping to collect enough rain to keep my indoor veggies healthy and happy.

This system is everything you need and nothing you don't. Had to add a booster pump, but the system works great!

I was on the fence about which system to buy, and I also had a couple of other questions/concerns. I called on a Saturday and was able to speak to someone. He answered all of my questions and concerns with no hesitation. I placed my order online and received updates as it was processed and shipped. It arrived in 2 days and was packed well. Once I mounted it, set up was easy and I was making RO/DI water in about 1-1/2 hrs.

The system is perfect. Very well built and included everything I need. I could have easily spent similar money on a similar system from a large online retailer or somewhere else, but the support that I have seen Buckeye hydro provide in multiple online forums as well as other anecdotal stories of their advice really gives them a leg up. Also they're a local Ohio company and my lfs carries their products.

The filter unit arrived well packed, they used Styrofoam peanuts I could have done without but, it was secure in the box. The unit was pre-assembled minus the addition of the DI filter media and the membrane. It also came with a set of detailed instructions and applicable lines and fittings. Overall good deal. Will definitely be doing further business here.
