TDS Creep Bypass

Calculated at checkout

Product Description

"TDS Creep" is common to all systems using an RO membrane, and results in high TDS water making its way to the pure water outlet of the RO.  The occurs each time the system is shut off, and results in a pulse of high TDS water coming from the RO each time the system is turned on.  This "dirty" water adversely affects any downstream filters such as a deionization (DI) stage. The TDS Creep Bypass allows the user, by moving the valve arm, to temporarily route this water to a drain rather than send it on through the purification system.  After 60 to 90 seconds (typical), the valve arm can be switched back to its normal operating position and the RO water is sent on to the DI stage.

The Kit also provides an easy means to access RO water for testing, drinking, or spot-free rinsing.

The TDS Creep Bypass Kit includes:

  • 3-way Bypass Valve with 1/4" quick connect ports
  • 2 x 1/4" Swivel Elbows
  • 6 ft  1/4" Red Tubing
  • 6 ft 1/4" White Tubing

  1. Great way to stop TDS creep. 5 Star Review

I bought this to do exactly what it says, get rid of the TDS creep that inevitably occurs with an RO system. It works, it is a nice, easy way to get rid of it. It says that the first minute or two is necessary to use it to get rid of the high TDS water, but, like the other reviewer says, it only takes me about 10-30 seconds to get it back down to normal levels. Happy with this purchase, although, it is a little on the expensive side, but, it does what it says it does, so, I can't complain too much about that.
