Product Description

Are residential-scale systems too slow, and commercial systems too expensive for your application?   Meet The Gapper - an RO system that utilizes the best of both worlds to deliver up to 400 gpd at an incredibly affordable price!  True to its name, the Gapper fills the gap between traditional residential-scale RO's that produce up to 150 or 200 gpd, and commercial RO's that typically begin at 500 gpd.

The Gapper features three 20" x 2.5" standard-sized prefilters - one sediment filter and two carbon blocks; a low energy, made-in-the-USA commercial RO membrane; liquid-filled pressure gauge; high pressure pump; auto flush valve; feed water solenoid valve; housing wrench; stainless steel membrane housing, and an incredible 1:1 waste water to purified water ratio!  Includes 10 feet of 3/8" feedwater tube (blue) and permeate tube (white), 10 feet of 1/4" concentrate tubing (yellow), and 10 feet of 1/2" white tubing to facilitate rinsing new carbon blocks.  With 98.5% rejection, The Gapper is an excellent choice to purify your water before it's delivered to a deionization stage.

The Gapper measures 27" wide, 29" tall, and 8" deep.  You'll need several extra inches below the housings to facilitate filter changes.

  1. Best value "entry level" commercial RO unit around! 5 Star Review

Posted by on Jul 12 22

I love my new Gapper! I have been making water for my reef aquarium for decades with upgraded "consumer grade" RO units and as my systems have grown over the years, I needed more. Buckeye Hydro made the choice simple. This unit has everything you need, stainless steel membrane housing, pressure switch, auto membrane flush timer, quality power supply, and booster pump! The 1:1 production to waste ratio is spot on and I am happy to be dumping far less water down the drain. Quality components and simple but effective design.
