This 3/8" solenoid includes a wiring harness with two plugs compatible with Aquatec transformers, pumps, and other accessories.  24 VAC.  Rated for 100% duty time.  Max Pressure 100 psi.  Includes 3/8" quick connect fittings.  Proper flow direction is marked on the bottom of the valve.  Wetted surfaces are polypropylene, EPDM, and Stainless Steel.

This product works as described. Not much to say about a solenoid valve.

One added benefit is where the quick connect fittings screw on to the valve body, there are actually washers inside. This means you don't have to mess around with Teflon tape on the threads. Very good seal.

Be aware that it is important to observe the marked direction of flow. This valve will allow backflow (water flowing in the opposite direction of the arrow) when it is closed if the back pressure is high enough. Thus, if you install the valve backwards it would not stop the flow.

If you are concerned about backflow (i.e. when you D/C the feed line while there's still pressure inside the housings), just install a check valve.
