Product Description

Buckeye pinch valves are an inexpensive and long-lasting solution for problematic fluid delivery.  Other types of valves come in contact with the fluid being restricted.  Because there is no fluid contact, these valves are suitable for ultrapure water applications, and are ideal for use where scale or other deposits tend to form on valve parts.  Buckeye Pinch Valves work beautifully to control the effluent drip rates from calcium reactors.  If deposits form within the tube at the pinch point, open the valve slightly and add a second valve - the flow can be controlled easily but the tube is less restricted in any one location.

Installation is quick and easy.  No need to cut the tubing - eliminating a potential leak point.  Simply slide the tubing into the bottom half, and meter the flow with the micro-adjustment screw.  The finely divided, metered scale on the valve body enables calibration to be recorded and replicated.

The valves are manufactured from Delrin® acetal resin for incredible strength and durability.  Intended for soft wall tubing sizes, the valves fit tubing with an outside diameter (OD) from as small as 5/32" (4 mm) to a maximum of 1/2" (13 mm).  Common applications include medical devices, fluid delivery systems, food and beverage, analytical instrumentation, chemical processing, pneumatic systems, pharmaceuticals, and laboratory equipment.  Made in the USA.
