Product Description

Buckeye offers a variety of fitting to facilitate tapping into your home's plumbing to supply water to a purification system.

cclamp140.pngSelf Piercing Saddle - Although super-convenient, we discourage the use of this fitting as there are other better options available.  This fitting should not be used on systems utilizing a booster pump.

jgasa.pngUndersink Shutoff Valve - Install this convenient shut off valve beneath a sink to supply water to your purification system. 3/8 inch female compression threads x 3/8 inch male compression threads x 1/4 inch quick connect. The blue valve handle controls flow to the 1/4" tubing (only), other flow through the valve is continuous.

feedwater-adapter-valve.jpgThis Adapter has 3/8" female, and 3/8" male pipe threads, and a 1/4" compression fitting for the feedwater tube to your water treatment systems.  Other sizes are available.  The blue-handled valve controls water flow (only) through the compression fitting to the system

brass-hose-bib-splitter.jpgZinc, or more durable brass, hose bib splitters work great if you're installing a system in a laundry room with a hose bib. The hose bib splitters available at Buckeye Hydro are sold as an irrigation product and do not qualify as “Lead-Free” under the new federal Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act.  This Act set new, lower standards for the amount of lead permissible in plumbing products that come into contact with potable (drinkable) water.  The new law reduces the permissible levels of lead in the wetted surfaces of pipes, pipe fittings, plumbing fittings and fixtures to a weighted average of not more than 0.25%. Products that meet this standard are referred to in the law as "Lead Free." The Reduction of Lead in Drinking Water Act went into effect on January 4, 2014. The new standard does not apply to pipes, pipe fittings, plumbing fittings or fixtures that are used exclusively for nonpotable services such as manufacturing, industrial processing, irrigation, outdoor watering, or any other uses where water is not anticipated to be used for human consumption.

jg-garden-hose-fitting.jpgHose bib adapters have female garden hose threads on one side, and a quick connect fitting (1/4" or 3/8") on the other.  Our hose bib adapters are solid "lead-free" brass, or are poly with non-wetted brass threads.  Beware of all plastic hose bib adapters - they deform and crack.

faucet-adapter-kit.pngThe faucet adapter screws on to a faucet and includes a easy on/off plunger or lever to allow flow to your RO/DI system. Includes two additional adapters to fit nearly any standard faucet.

ez-tap.jpgHave copper or PEX plumbing and not sure how to tap into it to supply water to your RO or RODI system? We have the answer for you! The EZ Tap provides a super quick, convenient way to tap into your 1/2" copper or PEX. No soldering or uncommon tools needed! Includes a 3/8" or a 1/4" quick connect fitting into which you insert the supply tube that feeds your RO or RODI system. For use with cold water only.
