Product Description

Two filled, refillable color changing DI cartridges in clear housings mounted on an aluminum bracket. Includes 12 feet of 1/4" tubing and two quick connect fittings. Takes standard 10" x 2.5" DI resin cartridges.  Configured to allow convenient placement of an inline TDS meter probe between the two stages.  Add a DM1 (two probe) or TRM1 (three probe) inline TDS meter.  Typical configurations are to place a probe before the first filter, between the two filters, and after the second filter (TRM1); or after the first filter and after the second filter (DM1).

The use of dual DI stages will assure nothing but 0 ppm TDS water reaches your end use!  If you forget to check/change the resin in the first stage, the second DI will catch any impurities before they exit the system.

Need larger housings? Additional stages? Speciality DI resins? Prefilters? We can do that! Contact us at info@buckeyehydro.com or 513-312-2343.

  1. Great way to add capacity to your RODI system 5 Star Review

Excellent way to daisy chain the effluent from the RO membrane to keep the TDS to 0!

  2. Awesome 5 Star Review

The refillable cartridges came prefilled, but sealed in air-tight bags to keep fresh. The tubing on the back to allow for a TDS meter is a great idea - you can see if you only need to change the resin in one of the filters without waiting until you have to do both (reduces downtime).

There was a tag that labeled one port as "IN" - it is also very easy to swap the order if needed. (If you unscrew the canisters from the bracket, the top of each canister is labeled IN and OUT, just arranged how you want them, screw them back on, and reconnect the tubing.)

The only weird thing (which turned out to be okay) was when I first added it to the system, the air got trapped in the second canister. Every time I started running water, you could see the water level in the canister appear to drop. However, after a few uses, this has subsided and both canisters always seem full. - Basically, don't be alarmed.

These do hold quite a bit of water. I have an RO only tap built on my system. I added a check valve after my RO tap, but before the DI system to prevent the DI water from back flowing when I use the RO tap. I did this mainly to ensure I keep the DI resin wet.
